The indication for counselling is in crises, life crises or any other kind of problematic situation where you cannot find a way out by yourself. Suicidal crises or mental disorders are not suitable for counselling.



Indication for psychotherapy is given if you have grave symptoms, that means the symptoms have a pathological expression (you can say they exceed a normal value) and a level of suffering is felt. As with physical illness, it is advisable to seek professional help with mental illnesses too.
